Randeep Hooda doing a cameo in Saif's Cocktail

Actor Randeep Hooda can be seen in a cameo appearance in the forthcoming movie Cocktail, which stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty, Dimple Kapadia and Boman Irani. Dinesh Vijan, the producer of the romantic comedy says that Randeep is a fantastic  actor and he would like to work with him in one of his next Bollywood movies.


Talking to PTI, producer Dinesh Vijan praised Randeep Hooda. The producer said, "He is playing a cameo. He is making a special appearance in the film. It was a character that we were talking about, and we were looking for someone. Randeep's name came up and Homi spoke to him. He (Randeep) liked his part and he came on board."

After impressive  acts in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Jannat 2, Randeep has some big films like Jism 2 and Heroine in his kitty. Dinesh Vijan said, "Randeep is a fantastic  actor, he is superb. He is a really good actor and we want to work with him really soon."

However, Saif and Deepika chemistry has clicked well with the audience in Love Aaj Kal and Aarakshan. Now, they have been cast together for the third time in Cocktail. Talking about them, Vijan said, "Saif heard the script and he really liked it. Then we gave the script to Deepika and offered her both the roles, she chose Veronica. Then we thought the correct twist in this 'Cocktail' will be to cast a newcomer, fresh face for the role of Meera."
