So how does one describe a movie like KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM? Outrageous? Scandalous? Wild? Wicked? Spicy? Wacky? Zany? Riotous? Madcap? I'd say all of these and more! If the intent of the film is to amuse and entertain and provide laughs and guffaws aplenty, logic be damned, then be rest assured, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM has some bizarre jokes and episodes that would make your jaws hurt with laughter in those 2.20 hours.

Come to think of it, are we geared up for an AMERICAN PIE type of a movie with adult humor in loads, since the moviegoer is getting more and more receptive towards diverse genres of cinema? Adult humor is something that is yet to be explored to the fullest in Hindi filmdom. MASTI [2004] and KYAA KOOL HAIN HUM [2005] were two of the earliest films that made way for adult comedies. Last year's DELHI BELLY, which was brimming with adult humor, made us realize that we are at ease with adult jokes and this genre is no longer considered discreditable or disgraceful. Now the much awaited sequel KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is out to tickle our funny bone… and how!

KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM brings the sex comedy genre back into focus. Designed with teenagers and young adults in mind, this movie is up to the brim with sexual innuendoes, adult jokes and impish humor.

But be forewarned… KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is a zany entertainer that belongs to the 'hardcore commercial cinema' category, as we call them in film parlance, aimed at magnetizing the masses in hordes. It's for viewers who are relentlessly thirsting for madcap amusement. It's not for pseudo intellectuals, neither for fuddy-duddies or hard-nosed and stubborn evaluators, who persistently dismiss and disregard movies of its ilk as lowbrow absurdity.

KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM revolves around two friends, Adi [Tusshar Kapoor] and Sid [Riteish Deshmukh]. Adi is an aspiring actor who appears in tacky ads, while Sid is a DJ, who never gets the right opportunities. The story takes a turn when they venture on an adventurous trip to Goa to retrieve something invaluable.

Like I pointed out earlier, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is wicked and caters to young adults. In fact, even some skeptics, who laugh aloud while watching an AMERICAN PIE, should enjoy the ludicrousness and hilarity of KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM.

Don't look for a path-breaking story here! From what one gathers, director Sachin Yardi yearns for audiences' laughter at any price. Yardi has kept the narrative speedy all the way through and has integrated some clever lines to keep the hilarity alive. There are sooooo many hilarious episodes in the film and several naughty jokes as well. Also, a bucketful of double entendres. I'd say, the sequences and some of the dialogue will stun you. But it's fun nonetheless, with hilarity unlimited. In fact, it's a movie that can ideally be referred to as a 'de-stressing entertainer'.

Any blemishes? Though there's hardly a dull moment in its swift screenplay, I wish to add, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM droops faintly in the middle, but again concludes on an unpredictably sprightly high. Besides, there are some jokes that work big time, while a few only try very hard to evoke mirth.

The soundtrack is scored by numerous music composers and the tunes are energetic and utterly in sync with the spirit of the movie. 'Dil Garden Garden Ho Gaya', 'Shirt Da Button' and 'UP Bihar Lootne' are wonderful tracks, bringing the youthful zest to the fore. Even the track during the end titles is high on energy. Ravi Walia's cinematography is lively, with each frame appearing vibrant. I'd like to make a special mention of the dialogue. Witty to the core!

The show belongs to the two lead actors and together they're a riot! Both Riteish and Tusshar are known for their impeccable comic timing. Riteish is terrifically hilarious in this side-splitting act. Tusshar is equally compelling and does incredibly well. In fact, both Riteish and Tusshar act in tandem and complement each other delightfully. Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias get it right. Their confidence, enthusiasm and lack of inhibitions while partaking in a naughty scene, delivering a wicked line or sporting a reveal-it-all outfit gives the film further impetus.

Anupam Kher is admirable and adjoins qualitative value to the movie. Chunkey Pandey is hilarious, especially in the introductory sequence. Howard Rosemeyer is uniformly wacky. Ditto for Razzak Khan. Kavin Dave is perfect. The pug is endearing in a significant role. Rohit Shetty and Mushtaq Shiekh make pleasant cameo appearances.

On the whole, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is sure to get the affirmation nod by its target audience -- the youth. Despite the sexual tone, adult jokes, impish humor, the movie, at no juncture, gets offensive, distasteful or objectionable. In fact, it's one big joyride from commencement to conclusion. This one is for the masses, for youngsters, for those who loved part one and enjoyed its crazy hilarity. KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM offers entertainment, entertainment and only entertainment in large doses!
