Dil Garden Garden
One look at the song and you know that the song has an Austin Powers setting to it with Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor getting into Mike Myers mode. While they are definitely burning the dance floor with their cool dance moves, it is sheer colours and an overall set design that are difficult to ignore after being seen once. With floral designs making each and every frame lively as well as almost child-like, the song is actually an anti-thesis of a sex-comedy that Kya Super Kool Hain Hum. Reason being that instead of any nudity, skin show or an element of erotica, the song is more fun with a hint of naughtiness to it.
What adds on the naughty element are Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias who seem to having a great time after relatively subdued outings in their debut Hindi films. While Neha hardly got a chance to get into a song-n-dance mode in Crook, Sarah was seen in a cabaret for Game though the fun element was clearly missing. Now in a setting like this where they are happy to be seen as Barbie girls jiving along with the 'kool' boys, Neha and Sarah are clearly a revelation in a different avtar.
The ones who come up top though are Sachin-Jigar who have actually churned out a tune that could jell well with the setting of a nursery rhyme. No wonder, the makers seem to have nailed it just right because despite the film's theme, at least the song belongs to the kind that would immensely appeal to the kids. A foot tapping number with the kind of dance moves that are bound to be picked up by the youth, 'Dil Garden Garden' has it's 'dil' in the right place since it creates a lively atmosphere that is all set to add on to the celebrations.
Looking at the kind of start Kya super Kool Hain Hum is enjoying for itself, one waits to see what else does Ekta plan to unveil in days to come.
